Obtained his bachelor\u2019s degree as Lawyer at Universidad Iberoamericana in 1985. Studied theoretical and practical courses in maritime law & in shipping operation at Transportaci\u00f3n Mar\u00edtima Mexicana, S.A. de C.V. He also obtained post-graduate degrees: in \u201cBusiness Law\u201d at the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Aut\u00f3nomo de M\u00e9xico (ITAM); and in \u201cCorporate law\u201d & \u201cEconomic & Financial Law\u201d; both at Universidad Panamericana (UP).<\/p>\n

Mr. Garc\u00eda S\u00e1nchez acted as in-house legal advisor in trust operations at Citibanamex and has been in charge of creating the Corporate Legal Divisions of different group of companies, such as Transportaci\u00f3n Mar\u00edtima Mexicana, Grupo Costamex, Grupo Name, Fundaci\u00f3n E, AB Grupo & others.<\/p>\n

Likewise Mr. Garc\u00eda S\u00e1nchez has acted as corporate legal advisor of several national and foreign group of companies in a large number of transactions related to national & international corporate law, including companies incorporation, corporate governance, restructures, capitalizations, mergers & acquisitions, foreign investment, joint venture, corporate engineering, negative control, special rights (put\/call option, equity purchase & sale, exit right (tag-along, drag-along), corporate trusts, special companies (SAPI, SAS, SOFOM), etc.<\/p>\n

An important part of his legal practice constitutes the area of Governmental acquisitions and bid processes (Procurement); mainly with PEMEX, CFE and other entities, either federal (i.e. energy plants, power transmission lines, chemical production plants and others, under independent energy producer, self-sufficiency, co-generation, use trust, public work, public-private partnership), as well as local such as with the Government of Mexico City and other local entities. He has active participation in the day-to-day management of services and public works contracts.<\/p>\n

Mr. Garcia Sanchez also provides legal assistance in financial matters related to credit, loan, trust, report, financing transactions and its different kind of guarantees, having participated the acquisition of important financial entities in Mexico (provided legal corporate & trust assistance in the acquisition by Citigroup of Banca Conf\u00eda and Citibanamex); and has ample experience in real estate transactions, including purchase & sale, usufruct, industrial leases, real estate trust schemes, guarantees and others.<\/p>\n

Mr. Garc\u00eda S\u00e1nchez has also active participation in all kind of highly specialized commercial and industrial contracts and in some industrial property matters (trademarks, copyrights), franchise & licensing. Currently Mr. Garcia Sanchez acts as external counsel, Legal advisor and Secretary of the Board of Directors of several national and international companies and is an active member of some legal lawyers\u2019 organizations.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Law degree by Universidad Iberoamericana (2013), receiving Suma Cum Laude for excellence. He has a postgraduate degree in real estate from Escuela Libre de Derecho.<\/p>\n

With more than 10 years experience Mr. Torres has assisted as external legal counsel national and foreign banking and financial institutions (AAA) as in connection with all kind of financial transactions (specialized loan agreements, real estate trusts (FIBRAS), guaranty trust, promissory notes, mortgages, pledges, letter of credits and so), including project finance operations for industrial parks, hotels, shopping malls, offices etc.), compliance and consultancy and cross-border transactions.<\/p>\n

He has an ample corporate &amp; compliance practice in the management and legal operation and of compliance of national and foreign corporations, mainly focused on real estate groups, advising them with their joint venture and association agreements to do business in Mexico.<\/p>\n

Real estate legal matters constitute one of his main areas of practice, supporting all kind of developers with the management of industrial and commercial real estate portfolios, in their various financing and restructuring operations, administration and guarantee trusts, leases (simple, multi- users, to measure etc), sale, co- ownership, easements and other real estate operation.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Born in Mexico City, 1973. He has a Law Degree (1994). He is bilingual (Spanish and English).<\/p>\n

In 2009 Mr. Conde participated in the special program (ACE) at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He has been involved in attracting, consulting and assisting direct foreign investment in Mexico, with the highest ethical, professional and commercial standards. From 1998 to 2005 he was part of the experts that supported and participated in the acquisitions of financial institutions in Mexico. Likewise, he participated in the most relevant credit restructuring operations in the north of Mexico, including the merger and the public stock sale of the Coca-Cola bottling company (Arca). Also, from 2005 as of today Mr. Conde has been implementing legal strategies for the businesses expansion in Mexico, helping our clients\u00b4 grow by providing them with opportune legal services oriented towards protecting the clients\u2019 personal, economic and commercial interests. He grants legal assistance and support to clients from all the globe.<\/p>\n
